A highly diastereoselective synthesis of methylenecyclobutanes possessing a quaternary stereocenter is reported, in which boron homologation of an easily‐generated cyclobutenylmetal species is performed, followed by an allylation reaction. Combining three steps in a one‐pot process further optimized the method, which afforded the expected adducts in excellent yields and stereoselectivity, starting from commercially available 4‐bromobutyne.  相似文献

New BN‐heterocyclic compounds have been found to undergo double arene photoelimination, forming rare yellow fluorescent BN‐pyrenes that contain two B? N units. Most significant is the discovery that the double arene elimination can also be driven by excitons generated electrically within electroluminescent (EL) devices, enabling the in situ solid‐state conversion of BN‐heterocycles to BN‐pyrenes and the use of BN‐pyrenes as emitters for EL devices. The in situ exciton‐driven elimination (EDE) phenomenon has also been observed for other BN‐heterocycles.  相似文献

The photoisomerization of 1,2‐dihydro‐1,2‐azaborine was investigated by high‐level multireference ab initio and density functional theory calculations. The intermediates (IMs) and transition states (TSs) on the S0 and S1 states were optimized using the state‐averaged complete active space self‐consistent field method. The multireference configuration interaction method with the Davidson correction was used to obtain accurate energetics. Moreover, the conical intersections (CIs), which play a crucial role in photoisomerization, were also optimized. On the basis of the calculation results, the most favorable proposed reaction pathway is as follows: reactant→Franck‐Condon region→TS1→CI→IM0→TS0P→product. The product was not directly formed through the CI, and the IM0 existed on the S0 state. These results show that the isomerization of 1,2‐dihydro‐1,2‐azaborine involves both photoreactions and thermal reactions. The calculated results clarify recent experimental observations.  相似文献

Helical vinyl aromatic polymers are emerging as interesting chiral materials due to their dynamic tailorability, synthetic simplicity, and outstanding chemical and physical stabilities. This Personal Account discusses long‐range chirality transfer in the radical polymerization of vinylterphenyl monomers and tunable stereomutation of the resultant polymers. It begins with a general introduction to the design, synthesis, and characterization of helical poly{(+)‐2,5‐bis[4′‐((S)‐2‐methylbutyloxy)phenyl]styrene}, the first one of this series of polymers. Then, long‐range chirality transfer during radical polymerization of terphenyl‐based vinyl monomers is explained. After that, the chiroptical property control of the resultant polymers by means of the transition from kinetically controlled conformation to thermodynamically controlled conformation and external stimulus is described. This Personal Account concludes by discussing the advantages and disadvantages of the strategy of using vinylterphenyls to obtain optically active helical polymers and providing a short outlook, especially emphasizing the importance of tacticity on the chiroptical properties of polymers.  相似文献

A series of unsymmetrical (D‐A‐D1, D1‐π‐D‐A‐D1, and D1‐A1‐D‐A2‐D1; A=acceptor, D=donor) and symmetrical (D1‐A‐D‐A‐D1) phenothiazines ( 4 b , 4 c , 4 c′ , 5 b , 5 c , 5 d , 5 d′ , 5 e , 5 e′ , 5 f , and 5 f′ ) were designed and synthesized by a [2+2] cycloaddition–electrocyclic ring‐opening reaction of ferrocenyl‐substituted phenothiazines with tetracyanoethylene (TCNE) and 7,7,8,8‐tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ). The photophysical, electrochemical, and computational studies show a strong charge‐transfer (CT) interaction in the phenothiazine derivatives that can be tuned by varying the number of TCNE/TCNQ acceptors. Phenothiazines 4 b , 4 c , 4 c′ , 5 b , 5 c , 5 d , 5 d′ , 5 e , 5 e′ , 5 f and 5 f′ show redshifted absorption in the λ =400 to 900 nm region, as a result of a low HOMO–LUMO gap, which is supported by TD‐DFT calculations. The electrochemical study exhibits reduction waves at low potential due to strong 1,1,4,4‐tetracyanobuta‐1,3‐diene (TCBD) and cyclohexa‐2,5‐diene‐1,4‐ylidene‐expanded TCBD acceptors. The incorporation of cyclohexa‐2,5‐diene‐1,4‐ylidene‐expanded TCBD stabilized the LUMO energy level to a greater extent than TCBD.  相似文献

Direct C5‐alkylation of oxazole/thiazole with ether or cycloalkane has been achieved through a cobalt‐catalyzed cross‐dehydrogenative coupling (CDC) process in moderate to good yields. This transformation represents the first C(sp2)−C(sp3) cross‐coupling at the C5‐position of the oxazole/thiazole via double C−H bond cleavages. Various functional groups on oxazole/thiazole substrates, as well as water and air, are well‐tolerated with this concise and practical protocol, constituting straightforward access to heterocycles with great medicinal significance. A preliminary mechanism involving a radical process has also been proposed.  相似文献

Five congeners of [n ]cyclo‐3,6‐phenanthrenylene with 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 panels were obtained from one‐pot macrocyclization of dibromophenanthrene, and their crystal structures with diverse molecular shapes were revealed by X‐ray crystallography. The compounds, except the four‐panel congener, were highly fluorescent in solution, with quantum yields up to 85 %. The least fluorescent four‐panel congener showed the smallest change in its absorption spectrum from that of monomeric phenanthrene, which provided an interesting structure–activity relationship for fluorescent macrocycles to guide future studies.  相似文献

We herein describe the engineering of E. coli strains that display orthogonal tags for immobilization on their surface and overexpress a functional heterologous “protein content” in their cytosol at the same time. Using the outer membrane protein Lpp‐ompA, cell‐surface display of the streptavidin‐binding peptide, the SpyTag/SpyCatcher system, or a HaloTag variant allowed us to generate bacterial strains that can selectively bind to solid substrates, as demonstrated with magnetic microbeads. The simultaneous cytosolic expression of functional content was demonstrated for fluorescent proteins or stereoselective ketoreductase enzymes. The latter strains gave high selectivities for specific immobilization onto complementary surfaces and also in the whole‐cell stereospecific transformation of a prochiral CS‐symmetric nitrodiketone.  相似文献

This study focuses on the heterogeneous Fenton-like reaction performed over a novel hybrid Cu–Mn–O catalyst for the degradation of a model compound benzophenone-3 (BP-3) in aqueous media. The hybrid Cu–Mn–O catalysts with different Cu/Mn molar ratios were synthesized using co-precipitation and hydrothermal methods, and their composition and morphology were characterized using XRD and SEM analyses. Key parameters including the Cu/Mn ratio in the synthesis, pH and titration of H2O2 were shown to significantly influence the degradation of BP-3. A hybrid catalyst with a chemical composition of Cu1.4Mn1.6O4, Mn3O4, and Mn2O3 exhibiting a morphology of nanofibers and nanoparticles demonstrated the highest catalytic activity in the degradation of BP-3. After 240 min of degradation, 81.5% of BP-3 was removed, which could be mostly related to the presence of hydroxyl radicals (˙OH). Unlike the conventional Fenton reaction that performs well under highly acidic conditions, BP-3 can be degraded in a wider pH range (2.6–7.1) in the Fenton-like reaction presented herein. Considering the mild conditions used for this Fenton-like system, this novel hybrid catalyst remains promising for wastewater treatment.  相似文献

We report interesting photomechanical behaviors of the dynamic molecular crystals of (E )‐2‐(2,4‐dichlorostyryl)benzo[d]oxazole ( BOACl24 ). The photosalient effect of the rod‐like crystal based on a metal‐free olefin driven by photodimerization is observed. Moreover, the needle‐like crystals of BOACl24 exhibit a reversible bending away from a UV light source. The nanofibers curl easily under UV irradiation in an organogel, in which the photo‐induced rolling of a small slice occurs. This suggests that the rapid release of the accumulated strain during photodimerization may lead to a photosalient effect, and the bending or curling happens when the strain is released slowly. Notably, [2+2] cycloaddition takes place between two different conformational isomers of BOACl24 on account of the rotation of the benzoxazole ring around the C−C bond in an excited state before photodimerization. Such topo‐photochemical reaction has not been reported elsewhere.  相似文献
